As one who has had the privilege of being part of the many opportunities afforded by Sacred Threads, I was particularly moved at the presentation by Sr. Joan Chittister. During her first visit, I think I was too astounded by the size and enthusiasm of the crowd and too awed by her presence to really take in her message. However, when she returned to walk us through the Stations of the Cross, I was really touched. Joan’s words, interpretations, and explanations were so moving that I felt as if she (Joan) was speaking directly to me.

That road, on which one puts one foot in front of the other and follows the journey of Jesus, was profound. Joan brought us (me) to this place that was a pivotal, transformative experience, for which I am most grateful.
