One of my strongest memories of Sacred Threads was at the most recent Remembrance Event. I had just lost my Mom, and my best friend had lost her Aunt, with whom she was very close, so we decided to attend. As we celebrated this beautiful event, I saw the anxiety and anger leave the face of my friend, who had not yet let go of the pain of losing her mother 10 years prior. She watched the dancing, listened to the music and finally found peace after years of anger and anguish. That’s what Sacred Threads means to me!
