    In this spring season of blooming and renewal, join us for a peaceful outdoor experience that invites healing within ourselves and a deeper connection with the natural world. Forest bathing is a mindful practice of slowing down and engaging the senses in nature, supporting relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing through simple guided presence outdoors.

  • Spiritual Alchemy: Transforming the Inner Landscape with the Enneagram

    In this new series, we will explore the spiritual landscape and transformative potential of the Enneagram. Together we will learn tangible methods for shifting from passion (or “vice”) to virtue, including contemplative and somatic practices, illuminating didactic, and small group exercises.  

    Led by Elizabeth Turnwald, MDiv, Certified Teacher of the Narrative Enneagram.

Past Speakers

Past Sacred Threads program offerings include large gatherings anchored by a popular, well-known speaker, the largest event with Joan Chittister drawing over 700 people, and round table panel discussions, including Influence of Faith on Women in Leadership and Women in Media. Over 70 events, mostly led by prominent speakers, have been offered since the organization’s inception in 2009.
